no refund policy tucking in
There was a problem. I bought one too many breakfasts and wanted a refund. This hotel does not offer refunds, even with 24 hours' notice. They gave me a credit note. The eco clean was really just a tucking in of the sheets (zero cleaning, I tell you).

tranquil retreat near ueno
nespresso coffee sound room varied pastry great breakfast
i appreciated the nespresso coffee maker in my room. it made excellent coffee, a real plus. the soundproofing was also notable. i didn't hear any outside noise from my room. the breakfast was great (i especially enjoyed the variety of pastries available).
I would say that the eco clean option seemed more like a tidy-up. It wasn't a deep clean of the room.

the hotel features plentiful and comfortable public areas. i regularly used the second-floor lobby. an outside seating area on the second floor was available, as was the patio on the ground floor.

artistic and modern stay
excellent coffee perfect location
The nespresso coffee maker in the room made excellent coffee. the soundproofing was amazing. You could not hear anyone outside my room. i found the location to be perfect. it allowed easy walking distance to ueno station and ueno park.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. staff were polite! the bed was amazing. I always looked forward to a great night's sleep. i had breakfast one day and it was totally delicious.

varied breakfast covered area laundry facility present bug cold staff unhelpful staff
The breakfast choices were very varied and delicious! I found an amazing covered area on the second floor with comfortable seating. The hotel also provides on-site laundry. I loved this option and used it twice .
My room had a strange bug. They switched my room. The staff didn't seem to care much about this serious issue. No apologies were extended. No compensation was offered. I'm a bit disappointed!
